If you have never tried Sarawak's kolok mee/dry egg noodles (besides the Sarawak Laksa, of course), you have never been to Sarawak.

emmm.. kolo mee or kolok mee?
I love Lawas Kolo Mee.
Here's a story about Kolo Mee.
One day, two of my friends decided to go KK for day trip - for the sake of eating Bak Kut Teh. As they reached Beaufort, suddenly one of them feels hungry because they didn't have their breakfast. Guess what, they've made a U-turn and drive back to Lawas JUST TO EAT LAWAS KOLO MEE!
After enjoying the delicious Kolo Mee, they proceed again for their journey to KK. This time it's Bak Kut Teh.
one of the best cuisine in malaysia!
I'm a fan of Sarawak Kolok mee, years ago I enjoyed eating kolok mee at Matang Jaya, Kuching. We always ordered double serve which cost RM4 but very satisfying. Gaya Street have one restaurant that serve Sarawak kolok mee, but in different style.
I love sarawak laksa.
No offence but I think kolok mee (kuching's) is overrated tho (kon lau mian better)... Maybe I should go try the ones in Miri? X)
I have yet to visit Miri.

Preparing for Travel Green

1. Purchase electronic-tickets for airline travel whenever possible. Less waste.
2. Enjoy walking tours. Walk where sensible.
3. Use public transportation when available.
4. Use the hotel van instead of renting a car. Use the bus or local transit system. Share taxis. Less pollution, and you can leave the driving to others.
5. If you're driving, turn your motor off when idling. Encourage tour/bus drivers to turn the motor off when idling.
6. Don't allow anything to be thrown out of your car windows--ever.
