I've been participating and each time was fun. Loving the darkness. The only problem: mosquitoes. Borneo bah Borneo.

I am very much amused by the hydrochloric acid. To think that I have poisonous liquid in me... I feel gleefully evil.

Some may argue it's because of the local music industry that's not developing well (mostly quality-wise) that causes us to tune off our own products.

Which I agree in most part. I think if our musicians stop trying to be like other international superstars, there may be a good chance to shine through and penetrate a bigger market.

You have to admit there are lots of local bands/groups that imitate too much (hiphop and heavy metal in particular) and just come off so fake and as attention seeking. There is nothing wrong with having a little bit of rap and heavy metal. In fact, I'm a fan of metal rock. However, I think it'll be so much better if local artists have their own individuality to set themselves apart.

When electro became mainstream, almost everyone started to form electro bands. How obvious can they be? Again, I'm not saying it's not OK to not have mainstream music locally, but put in some effort to make it one's own.

I prefer discovering local underground bands. I don't know a lot of them, so I usually refer to friends for recommendations.

Also, I think Jiaja is not bad. Not because I'm trying to be nice, but because I've heard them before, and I think they're ok.

I have to agree though, bigshots like Gaga and NeYo are overrated. Then again, take Gaga and Kanye as examples (no need to imitate). It's because they are so good at being themselves that makes them stand out and get so overrated.

Sigh. What, so they want to be like China and start banning blogging?

Look at other countries. Do their governments pick on bloggers? In fact, don't look at all. There's no need to look. This blogging thing shouldn't even be of any problem with anyone, let alone the government.

Whatever happened to freedom of speech? We blog as we like, if anyone despises our words, then just effing close the tab/browser. Not difficult to do. Blogs exist for many reasons. Opinions are one of those. What's the use to speak up if nobody is allowed to have a voice?

We talk about our country's flaws in hopes that authorities of concern will wake up and realise what the country needs, and then to improve. Want to play cover up? Fine, but don't start having the talk-only-no-action ministers complaining about their citizens. That was why people rallied and protested a few years ago. If the country doesn't want things like that happening, then in the name of whatever, start_listening_to_us.

How pathetic is Malaysia to actually have a *law* to control what we have to say. Might as well stay underdeveloped.

Oh wait. We ARE underdeveloped. Well done!

If one can live with the "can do" attitude, then one will be able to tackle almost anything given. That is what I believe.

It gets really critical almost every dry season. Governments will do water rationing when there is not enough supply.

Sarawakians are experiencing similar situations too right now, and water rationing has already taken place in some areas.

Also, it is sad and frightening to know how one big reason for increasing weather problems is due to global warming. Don't you think?

Another matter that's unnecessary to get hyped about. Let them lovers be, it's not their lives we are living.

That said, good for Sarawak and Sabah for seeing nothing wrong with this.
