Over 70 development projects at upcoming Property Hunter Expo

KOTA KINABALU, Mar 5, 2014: The Property Hunter Expo (PH Expo) returns for the third time in Kota Kinabalu this weekend. The 2014 PH Expo will be held from 7th to 9th March 2014 (Friday to Sunday) at the Sabah Trade Centre starting from 10:00am to 8:00pm.

This free-to-attend exhibition will feature over 50 developers and more than 70 properties from Australia, Singapore, West Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah. Returning exhibitors APAD Australia Property and Development Pty Ltd will be featuring The Promenade Townhouses in Brisbane and Gold Coast. The Promenade consists of 120 single level and two level town homes with three bedrooms ranging from 145m2 to 199m2.

Visitors looking to invest overseas can also learn more about The Scotts Tower by another returning exhibitor, Far East Organization. Located in prime district 9, The Scotts Tower is designed by international award-winning Dutch architect, Ben van Berkel of UNStudio. This development comprises 231 SOHO-concept apartments that offer breathtaking views over the height of 31 storeys, with recreational facilities abound at the sky terraces on Level 2 and Level 25.

Major developer Mah Sing Group will also be participating in the Expo, and this year they will be focusing on showcasing their development The Loft @ Southbay City located in Penang. This is an exclusive low density limited edition sea view residential suites project. It consists of three design types with a built-up area ranging from 1,325sf to 1,615sf.

Another highly sought after property Marina Cove at Iskandar Malaysia, Johor will also be presented by another key developer IOI Properties. This integrated waterfront mixed development consists of luxury serviced apartments, a commercial complex and hotels. Sited within 37.7 acres of land area at Tebrau Coast, it is set to provide residents the privilege of upscale modern amenities.

Sarawak developer Naim Land will also be showcasing their latest launch, Bahagia Residences in Miri. This four-storey apartment is situated within Desa Bahagia, Bandar Baru Permyjaya which is strategically located and within close proximity to modern conveniences and facilities. The range of built-ups is suitable for singles, couples or families.

In Sabah on the other hand, properties that visitors can look forward to viewing includes the eco-friendly Bay 21 TOO by Remajaya. Expected to be completed in 2015, this 26-storey building consist of 286 luxurious and elegantly furnished units, ranging from one to three rooms : Type A ranges from 395 sqft to 1,038 sqft, Type B units are 621 sqft, Type C Duplex Suites are 932sqft, and Type G & F units are 1,248 sqft.

Chang Cheng Daya will be exhibiting their RM500 million integrated commercial development C-Park along the Penampang by-pass.The project will boast the first four-star 28-storey all suites hotel, Sabah’s largest food avenue, 48 designer 4-storey shoplots, three floors of retail shopping complex, an international hospitality college institution, a medical wellness centre as well as a proposed SOHO in the second phase of the development.

Another highlight from Sabah is Jesselton Quay by SBC Corporation Berhad. Built on a 16.25 acre prime port land, the project will comprise of commercial suites, a retail mall, retail units, office towers and a hotel. Once completed, the Jesselton Quay Project is poised to become an iconic landscape as Kota Kinabalu city’s new waterfront and premier tourism frontier which is marina focus complete with its own cruise terminal.

Interland Properties will feature its latest project, Harrington Suites in Kota Kinabalu. This luxurious condominium built on a 1.2 acre land near Luyang Phase 1 consists of 116 units. It features five types of layout, comprehensive leisure and entertainment facilities, as well as top notch security system. The buildup is between 2,445 sq ft to 3,850 sq ft.

Visitors can also sign up for the Property Talk Session and enjoy other exciting activities such as free photography sessions by award-winning photographer Louis Pang, and a drawing and colouring competition on 8th March (from 2:00pm to 4:30pm) sponsored by Logistics Company, ABX Express Sdn Bhd.

Visitors will receive a free copy of the latest Property Hunter magazine and they will also stand a chance to win attractive prizes when they enter the Visit & Win and Buy & Win contests. This year, PH Expo will also be supporting Habitat for Humanity, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that helps eliminate poverty housing by building affordable houses for the less fortunate. For every purchase of property made, RM50 will be donated by Maxx Media to the NGO. Several donation boxes will also be on display to encourage the support of visitors.
