1MET Bootcamp 2014: Unleash your potential
The 1Malaysia EnTrepreneur/1MET bootcamp is back again this year. Whether you are an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur (Aged 18 to 40), this bootcamp is right for you. This event aims to introduce the core nature of entrepreneurship, types of opportunities, risks and also how expert entrepreneurs act.
Upon the successful completion of training the first batch of 5,000 aspiring entrepreneurs in 2013 under ‘1MET Bootcamp 2013’ series, The National Strategic Unit (NSU) of Ministry of Finance (MoF) in partnership with StartupMalaysia.org have embarked on another task of training 2,000 aspiring entrepreneurs in 2014 under ‘1MET Bootcamp 2014’ series.
The series of 1MET Bootcamp 2014 will be a full 1-day event reaching out to 2,000 participants in 9 cities (Tawau, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Kuching, Ipoh, Penang, Kota Bharu, Dungun & Kuala Terengganu).
With this in mind – we designed the program based on a ground-breaking theory of entrepreneurship called EFFECTUATION.
Effectuation basically informs an aspiring
entrepreneur and experienced entrepreneur on how EXPERT entrepreneurs think and act and the tools they use to succeed. The program may look simple but this is the building block of venture creation – no matter how experienced you are as an entrepreneur, you will benefit from the program and the networking and being part of the 1MET database/ alumni network. – startupmalaysia.org
