JERUDONG, Oct 31: “It has been a smooth journey throughout the Asean Expo 2013 – even before the opening. It has been a great experience for all entrepreneurs, organisers and visitors alike.”

Sheikh Jamaluddin noted this on behalf of Asean Expo 2013 Organising Chairman Dato’ Jack Ting yesterday during the closing ceremony at BRIDEX Centre in Jerudong.

The day also saw speeches by Dr Kuan Yin Choi and Liu Fang. A token of appreciation was presented to Dato’ Jack Ting, who was represented by Nabil Mahrub of CityNeon.

In his speech, Dr Kuan pointed out that the Asean Expo had been a great opportunity for the company to excel in terms of consumer recognition on jade products.

Liu Fang, popularly known as the “Queen of Jewellery”, said, “We are looking forward to opening an outlet in Brunei and we will undoubtedly join the next Asean Expo.”

The event closed with light refreshments sponsored by CityNeon.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the Bulletin, Liu Fang said, “It gives me great pleasure to see an article on our jade products in the local newspaper, and that Zhuhai Jewellry Empress Industrial Co Ltd had caught the attention of visitors at the Asean Expo.

Her booth at the expo offered visitors a wide range of exclusively handcrafted jade pieces made into amulets and bangles, among other striking pieces.

“Our jades are high-class and chosen from the best elements to form products that can benefit the life of anyone who wears it, especially in terms of their health and therapeutic means,” the Queen of Jewellery explained.

“We want to express our appreciation to all the visitors our booth,” she added.
